The Duke Alumni Association engages over 9500 alumni as volunteers in a variety of roles and programs both on campus and
throughout the world. Alumni volunteers interview applicants, plan local events, organize class reunions, lead
affinity groups, and participate in a wide variety of special projects and programs. Use the information below
to find a volunteer role that fits your interests and your schedule. Alumni volunteers are our greatest resource
and we're proud to welcome you aboard!
Volunteers are a vital component of the mission of the DAA and are essential, not only to the alumni association but also to
many other university departments and programs. Volunteerism at Duke takes many forms, from Alumni Admissions interviewing,
Duke regional clubs, and reunion planning to board membership and philanthropy. The DAA strives to engage alumni volunteers
across the university, not just within the alumni association. Whether you're a current volunteer, a new graduate, or are
making your first steps into the DAA volunteer corps, this site is the front door to all volunteer opportunities.
The information and links contained here are just a snapshot of the broad spectrum of volunteer opportunities available
