Privileges for Duke Alumni Association members

The DAA works year-round to engage, connect, and celebrate alumni here on campus,
where you live, and, increasingly, online.

  • We keep you in touch with fellow alums for career and social networking through alumni gatherings, affinity groups, and our DukeConnect online networking tool.
  • We offer opportunities to celebrate your love of Duke, ranging from homecoming and reunions events to send-off parties and hoops watches.

Browse articles: We've partnered with Duke University Libraries to provide EBSCO Academic Search Alumni Edition, JSTOR, and ProQuest ABI/Inform Complete. To access these databases, log into the online directory and click on the "Research Resources" link.

*Park free on campus: You can park in select gated lots on weekends and after 5 p.m. on weekdays (after 8 p.m. for Bryan Center Parking Garage IV). See a list of gated lots. (Not for pay lots. Restrictions may apply during special events.)

*Be our guest at the Nasher: Receive free admission to Duke's dazzling art museum. (Free admission does not include special ticketed exhibitions.)

*Borrow a book: You have full privileges at Perkins Library system and Divinity School Library. Alumni do not have access to library e-books at this time.

*Work out: Enjoy five free visits per year (July 1-June 30) to Wilson, Card, or Brodie gyms. Show your Duke Alumni Card to front-desk attendant. 

*Dress for Duke: Once-a-year 20 percent discount on regularly priced clothing and gifts at Duke Stores in the Bryan Center (some exclusions apply).

*Grab and read: Once-a year, 20 percent discount at the Gothic Bookshop.

Show your Duke pride every time you send an email.

The Duke Alumni Association offers a free address to every alum, and you can keep this forwarding address no matter how often you change jobs or email providers.

This service works in conjunction with your current email provider. It does not replace it.
