Director, Undergraduate Engagement

The director of undergraduate engagement will provide leadership in the Duke Alumni Association’s efforts to cultivate in undergraduate students a spirit of lifelong engagement with Duke. The director will partner with campus units, alumni and student groups to develop and manage programs and resources. S/he will source alumni for involvement in student activities, educate students on opportunities to be involved with the Association on campus and in the regions, promote the celebration of the history and traditions of the community, provide access to benefits that deliver on the power of the alumni network, and further diversity efforts by assisting in the establishment of multiple entry points in which students and alumni can engage with one another. The Director will report to the Assistant Vice President for Campus Engagement and will collaborate closely with the Director of Graduate Engagement to advance the goals of the alumni association’s strategic plan. Director, Volunteer Engagement

In concert with the Duke Alumni Association’s strategic priorities, the Director of Volunteer Engagement will oversee the management of the “volunteer pipeline” by leading efforts to identify, recruit and provide training, assignment, ongoing management, and recognition and rewards to alumni volunteers. This position will work closely with the regional engagement team, affinity leaders, reunion programs, the director of alumni admissions and campus colleagues to fulfill their responsibilities. Info Designer/Developer II, Digital Strategies

The information designer/developer plans, creates, distributes, and analyzes email marketing campaigns for an audience of 150,000-plus Duke alumni around the world. This position reports to the Duke Alumni Association (DAA)'s senior director of digital services & strategy and is an integral part of the digital services team that produces digital and print products for the Duke Alumni Association, campus partners, and an international network of chapters. The information designer/developer interacts with a variety of internal clients, volunteers, other alumni, and Duke students to ensure timely and effective creation and distribution of information and services related to DAA programs and events. The information designer/developer will participate in the growth and optimization of the Duke Alumni direct-to-alumni email marketing program including strategy, campaign execution, segment management, marketing automation, and related processes. Senior Director, Regional Engagement

The senior director for regional engagement will report to the Assistant Vice President for Regional Engagement to help develop and implement strategies, manage day-to-day decisions for regional programs, and develop the overall program. Supervises and coordinates the activity of regional alumni, supervises the activities of 2 or 3 assistant directors of regional programs as well as a program coordinator.
